Meet Your Instructors

Rachel Ramalho

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Rachel Ramalho is one of the world’s most respected Brazilian Zouk educators, event organizers, DJs, and performers. With decades of teaching experience, she is known for her detailed methodology, exceptional understanding of leading and following mechanics, and her ability to make complex concepts accessible to dancers of every level.

Rachel is the founder of multiple international festivals, a member of the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council (BZDC), and has inspired thousands of dancers across the globe through her teaching, energy, and passion for the dance.

Marck Silva

A two-time Brazilian Zouk World Champion, Marck Silva is internationally recognized for his technical excellence, musicality, and innovative teaching. His classes combine biomechanics, partner connection, artistic expression, and precision, helping leaders become more confident, efficient, and expressive.

Having taught throughout the world, Marck is admired not only for his impressive dancing but also for his ability to develop complete dancers with lasting technical foundations.

Allan Maia

Current Zouk World Champion and one of Brazil’s most exciting dance professionals, Allan Maia brings together exceptional technique, creativity, and dynamic movement. With over 13 years of experience, he has taught in more than 20 countries and has become known for his unique body movement, musical interpretation, and engaging teaching style.

His classes inspire dancers to move with greater freedom, confidence, and authenticity.

Otavio Kanashiro

Otavio Kanashiro is one of the rising stars of the new generation of Brazilian Zouk. With a strong background in contemporary dance, ballet, jazz, urban dance, and ballroom styles, he combines refined technique with exceptional movement quality and creativity.

Specializing in men’s styling, body mechanics, and expressive movement, Otavio has quickly become a sought-after instructor at national and international festivals. His teaching encourages leaders to develop greater body awareness, elegance, and individuality on the dance floor.
