We begin with one of the most powerful tools in life & dance: breath. Then we’ll dive into hips, arms, turns, spins, head movements, and creative footwork — everything you need to feel fluid, connected, and empowered in your following.

 Joanna Zwierzyńska
Founder of The Empowered Dancers, professional dancer, international coach, judge, choreographer, and actress. Joanna has taught in 30+ countries and has been a key figure in shaping Zouk across Europe. Known for her expressive solo follower classes and playful, high-level technique, she has inspired hundreds of follows worldwide.

 Melyssa Tamada
From São Paulo, Brazil, Melyssa is part of the new generation of Zouk & Lambada instructors taking the world by storm. Together with Marck Silva, she’s known worldwide for creativity, versatility, and shaping modern Zouk trends. Her dance videos inspire thousands daily.

 Jessica Lamdon (“Unicorn”)
A lifelong dancer from the US with a background in competitive ballroom, Jessica discovered Zouk in 2012 and never looked back. Certified by Kim Rottier and trained under Ry’el Velandia, she has taught and performed internationally, representing ZenZouk. Her classes mix technique, playfulness, and unique artistic expression.

 Sara Bezerra
Dancer, teacher, and choreographer from São Paulo, with a background in ballet, jazz, and Brazilian country dance. Now dedicated to Zouk & Lambada, Sara is known for her dynamic style, refined musicality, and deep focus on connection. She teaches and performs worldwide alongside her partner Otávio Kanashiro.
